The pharmacies you see below could be any place in India .. they are not unique to Kodaikanal.
Note: You do NOT go past the counters into any pharmacy and 'walk-about'! Some photos that I took leaning-on-the-counters make it look like you can go inside and 'browse'. You cannot do so!
Below are four photos of one pharmacy that I have been using here in Kodaikanal.
The pharmacists are truly professionals and very well educated and trained. Note if-you-will his heavy sweater! And I thought that I felt cold here my first few days!
I also use the below pharmacy as well.

I have not done business with the below pharmacy but it is typical.
Today as I was walking about I gave this small pharmacy a little business.

Because I am leaning on the counter .. the above photo looks-like you can just walk in!
In my Posts about the dangers here in India I have NOT gotten to much 'into' the health dangers except as related to skin-break infections from falls. IF you need anti-biotics these pharmacies are where you go.
