Yesterday I began this theme and I am going to run-with-it again today.
Basically .. HOW DO YOU BE SAFE ? .. when you are walking through a 'mine field' just on the sidewalk!
The first photo below is similar to what I showed you yesterday.
This sidewalk is 'begging' you to twist an ankle .. twist a knee .. fall down and injure yourself ! Fall down and your hands shoot out and you hit the mess and break-the-skin on your hands or elbow or forearms .. much worse you hit your head! Break your skin and you have a real problem with a severe infection developing almost instantly. Look at your 'little fall' leaving your hotel room 'Zilla!
This 'barricade' shown below at the end of the sidewalk is no problem in the daylight. But .. at NIGHT you had better watch out for that pole across the sidewalk ! As you approach the street you are looking for traffic NOT a pole blocking your path! Study the uneven surface of the sidewalk tiles! Each tile joint is a 'tripping hazard' !
Note also the LACK OF TRAFFIC on the street when I snapped the below photo!
The mess below is just a generic obstacle on your path! But you can see that you had better watch-your-step because there are uneven surfaces in this seemingly innocent mess! In the distance up the sidewalk is the 'barricade' shown in photo 2 above. The parked automobiles are 'mute evidence' that there are more ways of transportation than two and three-wheelers.
Over and out for today. IF you have not read yesterday's Post .. when you do .. this Post will make more sense than if you just hit-it-cold today!
